Chironomus nr. kiiensis

Listed in GenBank as C. kiiensis but the Barcode sequence varies markedly from that of other members of the "C. striatipennis" group.  No morphological data available but the body may be preserved in Japan.

Molecular:  Barcode sequence attributed to this species exists for three specimens.

The GenBank accession numbers are: JQ350720, AB740240, AB838642, AB838644.
