Mouthparts of C. vitellinus
a. Pecten epipharyngis.  Note the somewhat irregular teeth.  b. Antenna, with relatively long, narrow basal segment.
c. Mentum.  Note the well separated c2 teeth which slope towards c1 of the central trifid tooth (type II).4th laterals hardly reduced (type I).
d. Ventromentum, with about 27-28 striae.  e. Mandible.  Note the coloured and separate third inner tooth(type III).Righthand side: Premandible with 7 teeth.
