Specific sequences of North American populations not described. Arm E should have a distinctive sequence, and there should be a nucleolus in arm C.
murA:
murE1: 1 - 3e, 4, 10b - 5, 11 - 10c, 3f, 12 - 13
murF:
Found: Alberta - Amisk Lake.
European specimens in deep sediments.
Molecular Data:
The mtCOI and CytB and the Gb2β sequences for a European specimen are in GenBank (and the COI sequence is also in BOLD)
Identified by P. Michailova (Dinsmore & Prepas 1997, p. 2171). Kiknadze (pers. comm.) found none in a small sample she checked from Amisk Lake. Sæther (2012) lists this material as C. entis.
If correctly identified, this means C. muratensis would be a Holarctic species.
